of Cannabis Management
Minimum background check requirements for license applicant, true party of interest, and cannabis workers employed by license holders:
- Be conducted by a third-party consumer reporting agency or background screening company that is in compliance with the federal Fair Credit Reporting Act and accredited by the Professional Background Screening Association.
- All searches must be conducted in all jurisdictions where the applicant has lived and/or worked (company headquarters and physical location) for the past seven years, and include:
- Address and social security number trace
- County criminal searches
- All jurisdictions provided and developed
- All names provided and developed (include aliases)
- Minnesota county searches to be searched directly with public access terminals
- Statewide criminal searches
- Minnesota Judicial Branch, Minnesota Court Records Online on all applicants
- Federal criminal searches
- All jurisdictions provided and developed
- All names provided and developed (include aliases)
- Minnesota federal on all applicants
- Nationwide criminal database (multi-jurisdictional)
- All names provided and developed (include aliases)
- Reporting requirements must include primary source validation in courts or record of origin
Criminal reporting guidelines according to all state and federal laws
- Unlimited felony convictions
- Minimum five-year misdemeanor convictions

90% of our background checks are completed within 24 to 72 hours.

Yes. Both you and OCM are notified simultaneously when the background check is completed.

Simply agree to the terms and conditions outlined in this proposal, and we will set up your account the same day, allowing you to start processing background checks immediately.
